Garden of Hours

★★★★☆ 4.3 Editor rating

Garden of Hours is a gentle simulation about tending a plot of land through changing seasons. You plant, water, prune and slowly turn a bare yard into something alive. It ticks along in real time, so checking in each day feels like a small ritual rather than a chore.

There's a surprising amount of depth under the calm surface. Different plants react to weather and soil, and pairing them well leads to healthier growth and prettier layouts. I spent way too long rearranging flower beds just because I could. Decorating is optional but satisfying.

It's not trying to be exciting, and that's the point. This is a wind-down game, something to open with a cup of tea. The only downside is that early progress is a little slow, but once your garden fills out it becomes genuinely relaxing to manage.
