Luxora
Luxora is one of those puzzles that looks simple in a screenshot and quietly eats your evening. You rotate and slide panels of colored glass so a beam of light reaches every crystal on the board. Early levels teach the basics gently, then it starts layering mirrors, splitters and filters until you're squinting at the screen tracing a path with your finger.
Controls are pure touch — tap to rotate a piece, drag to slide it. There's no timer and no fail state, which is exactly why it works so well in short sessions. I kept opening it for 'one level' and looking up twenty minutes later. The art deserves a mention too: soft gradients, gentle chimes when a beam connects, nothing loud or grabby.
What I liked most is how fair it stays. When I got stuck, the answer was always something I could see, not some hidden trick. A late-game world adds moving prisms that change the puzzle mid-solve, and that's where it really clicks into something clever. It respects your time and your intelligence.
What we liked
- Relaxing pace with zero timers or pressure
- Clean touch controls that never fight you
- Puzzles that stay fair even when they get tough
